Default Dance schedule for this weekend

don't ever let anyone fool you on how hard these girls work for the dance team.

Friday - Be dressed , ready to go on stage by 5 PM. Solo/ Duo / Trio dances start at 4 PM and run till 10 PM. 11 PM is the awards.

Saturday - at 8 AM be in the ballroom for warm ups and introduction of staff.

8:45 - breakout groups
Funk class - 8:30 - 9:30
Ballet class- 9:30 - 10:30
Break 10:30 - 11 AM
Jazz - 11 AM - Noon
Lunch Noon - 12:45
Tap class - 12:45 - 1:45
Ol Skool dance 1:45 - 2:30

(the kids are broken in ages these are all for Brooke. The instructors change rooms not the kids to make it less confusing and time consuming).

Shower / rest and get ready for the first competition to start at 4:10 PM. Brooke's first is at 4:23PM she will have to go to the room eat a quick snack and shower, do makeup , hair and put costumes on. Her last dance that evening is at 6:30 PM and then the awards for the evening is at 11 PM.


SUNDAY -
Scholarship auditions 8 AM - 9 AM
Jazz class - 9 AM - 10 AM
Jazz (different instructor) 10 AM - 10:45
Rhythms - 10:45 - 11:30
Lunch and scholarship finals 11:30 12:45
Hip hop - 12:45 - 1:30
Jazz 1:30 - 2:15

Check out and drive home 4 hours.

WOW! I am EXHAUSTED reading all of this lol! I am sure it is all worth it, but awards at 11 PM??? That seems a bit riduculous for KIDS! (heck, that would be ridiculous for adults lol). Good luck! I hope it all goes well!!!

Yeah I think the awards at 11pm is what would get to me. It seems like they could block out 2 hours or so, on Sunday afternoon to do all the awards for the whole weekend. Are you allowed to leave for bed after Brooke's catagories/class have been awarded at least?
