I agree with everyone I hate having the goodie bag full of junk, but feel like I need to give something. I usually would rather spend the money i would on all that combined and give each kid one better thing like others have said.
I've been to parties where they've gotten hula hoops or balls, or a frisbee. The lollipops are great or we have always done a candy bar with her picture on it in the goodie bag (we haven't had a big party for her in a few years because it became too overwhelming for her so we do a few friends and go somewhere she wants to go).
