Default Homework question
Teachers (and others if you know): How much does homework count in the grades? Los Angeles Unified SD just decided homework cannot count as more than 10% of grades.

This is not our school district but it made me wonder about other schools.

So far homework doesn't count towards their grades that I know of. Well, they don't even have grades until 3rd grade. It may affect their ratings, but I doubt it.


I'm surprised if that 10% is for all grades. Upper grades I think need to have the homework to learn time management, etc...

I don't know the ratio of how it works out in our school but 10% sounds about right according to the way things are posted and the way the averages work out for my kids.
