She wants a pinata, guess we shall see on the weather b/c Im not doing that in the house. lol We were trying to stick w/ just kids her age, but the youngest is 4 and oldest is 10. Any suggestion on what to play for games?

Make your own sundaes? Dipping cookies in toppings and decorating them? Pin the tail on donkey/Put the nose on the clown.....we went to a princess themed party recently and the kids (all ages) played put the lips on the frog. They also all built castles out of wafers, icing, and candy as decorations. Then they did the pinata and all the little kids got to go first, then the big kids. Since no one busted it open the first round everyone got 2 trys...then they let a really big kid take a few swings, lol.

Food always goes over well--what about a cupcake bar? You can bake them ahead of time and then use extra liners for toppings. That takes a while for the kids to get the hang of it (and it kind of gets you out of a full cake!).

Another thing our kids like to do is Shrinky Dinks. Remember those? You can buy the clear shrink film at Joann's or Michael's and then trace shapes on to them with a Sharpie (make them pretty big). The kids color them with colored pencils and then you bake them at a low temp for a few minutes. We did this for a Halloween party a few years ago to make necklaces and the kids loved it!
