A family I grew up with and have known all my life had a horrible accident yesterday. 5 people were killed instantly and one air lifted in critical condition. It was the grandmother and 3 grandchildren in a truck that hit headon with a SUV. The grand mother , 2 kids were killed instantly the other was airlifted. I don't know the folks in the SUV but they died as well (2 of them). The children are about the ages of my children and I grew up with their Dad. We have property together at the place on the river. I don't seem them often but this Saturday is the annual meeting and we always see them there and our kids play together since we both have 3 kids all in same age ranges.

So Lee ( my friend) lost his mother , 2 of his children and one is in critical condition in the blink of an eye yesterday.

Such a tragedy!

Wow- so very, very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with their family.

Oh my gosh how sad and tragic for that to happen. I'm so sorry for that poor family and your community. All those young children losing friends or learning about loss at such a young age.

I hope the son who is in critical condition pulls through. I'll be praying for him.

Thanks and I found out that the mother of the kids is also in the hospital with a bone infection in her leg which was the reason the grandmother had the kids.

I have cried and cried today. I wish I could do something but nothing will make this better.
