Shannon, I think the McD's toys were cooler in the 80's, too. I remember get plastic fries that transformed.

In that bin we got were a bunch of those McD food Transformers... fries (lg & small), burgers (lg & small), shakes, nuggets.... even an egg mcmuffin!
I actually put those together in a bag 'cause one of my brothers was interested in keeping those. (I checked e-bay... they're really not worth much... but if he wants them, WHATEVER!!)

My mom took my brother & I to piano lessons 1ce/week for 2-3 years, so we got McD's 1ce/week for 2-3 years... x3 kids... hence all the TOYS. I'm sure the bin I got wasn't even 1/2 of what we HAD at one time.

I just got through BLEACHING all of those legos... holy cow. I put the stopper in the sink, filled it 3/4 full with LEGOS, dumped in about 1/2c of bleach and filled the sink with HOT water. 1/2hr later, I drained & rinsed & layed them on bath towels to dry. AND THEN I DID THE SAME THING TO THE REST of the legos... yes... 2 sink fulls of legos. I found all kinds of EXTRAS in there too... including a couple TRANSFORMERS my kids are psyched about. The other extras were kinda gross... dog hair, tacks, chewed gum, old birthday candles, pebbles, and there were some toys from other sets mixed in (tinker toys, etc). So, I'm really glad I decided to go through them FIRST before letting my kids HAVE AT IT.
