That is insane! I think I would have walked those kids back and had a word with the parents. I just do not understand how people can be so irresponsible.

The scum that is responsible for killing a little girl in our area in 2009 just got sentenced on Friday, so it has brought up all those images and feelings again and I just cannot fathom letting a 4 year OR a 6 year walk around the neighborhood by themselves and then hang out on someone's house that I don't know. Heck, sometimes you have to be careful with people you thought you DID know.

That is insane! I can't imagine letting my 8 year old walk 1/10 of a mile to my neighbor's house alone.

Those are the same kids you read about being abducted and then everyone seems shocked and appalled.

there is no way I would let me kids do that. Logen doesnt even go outside unless I am out there with him

Not in a million years. I do not even let my teenagers randomly wander around. I always know where they are, who they are with and what time they will be back. I also always make sure that there is always a responsible adult nearby or in charge of transportation, etc.

That is just NUTS!
