Theres the girl Kaitlyn sees at mass, when shes not at ccd. They were together this morning and was surprised when Kaitlyn told me she gave her her phone number. First, i was surprised that this girl who just turned 7 new her #(guess we need to practice more) and the fact that she setting up her own playdate. Lol I couldnt believe it. Im mean, i would hope since her mom is right there, she told her it was okay. Just scary knowing that kids can give out their number to anyone.

My kids had to know their phone number in preschool and again in kindergarten. Josh (6) and Matthew (4) have known it for awhile.

Josh got his first phone call from a little friend about 2 weeks ago. We don't have a landline so it went to my phone. It was adorable. I have caller id and screen everything, and a number can be changed like I change my undies anymore, so I'm not all that worried about it.

Have fun on the playdate!

My children give our number out all the time. Brooke has even given our number to a boy on the BUS last year (she was 6) and he called her. Randy went nuts. The boy was 8 or 9.
