Default Pictures - opinions needed.

I'm trying to figure out how I really want the kids to be dressed for the pictures. I'm going to take the kids to this old house that is abandoned up the road a bit from us - farm house , no paint etc just rustic looking. There are some RR tracks there and I was going to take some pictures there as well as a field of cotton that a farmer owns where we buy produce (I'm going to ask first).

The boys have gray blazers in cordaroy and I was going to pair that with a button down long sleeve white shirt and jeans. Untucked without the jacket for some pictures, roll up the sleeves etc. So that some could be a little more *formal* and some would be really casual. I think the gray will look good at the old house and at the RR tracks especially in Black and White.

But for Brooke I'm unsure. I thought jeans and a simple shirt with some sequins on it she has two from Justice, one in a dark blue the other in purple with ruffles. Maybe her boots. Then I found this dress
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...d=1&pid=848839 I really like it and could put some black boots or flats on her. What do you think? I also like this collection and could pick many things here but want your opinion http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=56227

I like the gray dress and even the muted pink. Have you ever seen those black and white photos where just one thing (like a rose or a dress) is highlighted pink?

I don't know what effect that is, but that might be cool too.

I had the same problem matching DD's outfit to DS's for their photos last week. Everything seemed to formal or casual and boyish to really match.

All the options from the Gap are cute. I am freaking over the sequined hot pants though. YIKES! :-)

I think the jeans and simple shirt would work, but I do like the idea of the dress. Especially with two brothers it makes her stand out a bit, not that she doesn't already.

Sounds like some great scenery for shooting!

I didn't even notice the hot pants. Then again I'm so use to the the outfits of hers for dance that are booty shorts with rhinestones on their butts and zebra print I probably just looked right past it as it being normal.
