Deanna, I've heard this old wives tale too. I think that as I remember it the potato "holds" the wart so to speak and supposedly if someone else picks up the potato they can "catch" your warts.

I don't have any wart suggestions but they have this tape stuff that wraps around and sticks only to itself so you can wrap it all the way around his foot to hold the bandages on. I can't remember what its called but look around the bandage section of the drugstore.
Its this stuff but it also comes in white. http://www.drugstore.com/selfgrip-se...h=bandage+tape

I had some cut off my foot as a child too. I remember it was a good week or so before I was comfortable walking and I couldn't get it wet, so I would definitely wait until after the water park.
I've never heard of the potato method, but I have used aloe vera on regular warts before and had them dry up. It might be worth a shot. I just used the 100% stuff the store sold for sunburns.

Well, he has an appointment tomorrow. I'm so sick of dealing with these and then having to deal with stuff over the phone, not talking to the actual Dr, the nurse not getting my message TO the Dr correct, etc, it's just getting me frustrated!

SO, he will go tomorrow and either get them removed, or I will have to make another appointment AFTER our trip to get them removed. But either way they will be getting taken care of SOON!
