I think Leanna was 8 when she got hers. I didn't want to get it at 1st but once she did I realized how much better it is than DS and other portable gaming systems because the games are free or very cheap and they can't lose the games. Plus its an MP3 player so thats one less device to have.

Probably when Rachel's current Ipod finally quits I'll get her an I-phone because so that way they have the phone included in the same device. (She doesn't know that though and I'm hoping the price will drop by then!)

I think it would be a good thing for Brent, Braedon however doesn't take care of stuff as well as he should so I don't want to invest $240 on something like that for him.

I'd feel the same way if my kids weren't as careful as they are.

I think I paid $185 or something like that for Leanna's. I know its the one with the least amount of storage space but its enough if they don't put a lot of videos or movies on it.

The 8GB one is running $240 now from what I see. I will have to look more. I saw them at Target yesterday and that was the price there and at Sam's.
