Just looking at your thread and that scooter you posted ( my neighbor has it) has a wider base but because it has 4 wheels it wobbles from side to side to make turns and do tricks. Even I found it to be unstable when riding it.

You may be better off with a regular stationary scooter like this..

My DS has ridden on this one and he can handle it pretty well so we are going to getit for him for his birthday..

he got this one for his 3rd birthday..
