  • His teachers tell me that he isn't reading, but memorizing. Oh well, but he is memorizing them at a very rapid rate, and writing them too. He is always asking me to spell words for him and after he does it over and over a few times, he has it.

    Of course the words he knows are only the ones HE wants to know. I can't get him to learn the "boring" words like "the", "if" "where", etc.
