Sharing a room Ages & Stages

I think we made a decision and move Nicole in Kaitlyn's room. Kaitlyn already has bunk beds and Nicole's spring is busted, so financially its cheaper just to buy a new mattress and make Nicole's room the play room. Im a little sad..I guess since it has always been "Kaitlyns room" and remember feeding her in the glider in her room.

We would have to get rid of Nicole's dresser, which was Kaitlyn's when she was a baby. I know my mom wont be thrilled since they payed for the set, but we just dont have the room. The girls seem to be excited about the change...I guess as they as they are happy, I will be too..but still a little sad.

Why could you not still leave the dresser in Nicole's old room/the new playroom? I would not get rid of a perfectly matched set if I did not absolutely have to.

Hope the girls enjoy their togetherness and your sadness is short lived.

There wont be enough room...between two toy chest and 2 dollhouses, that room would get cramped very fast. I suggested to put Nicole's dresser in Kaitlyn's room where her toy chest is and DH mentioned there wont be enough room for the desk...since Kaitlyn has a bunk bed set.

Thanks girls! Seems like the cheapest was about $120...but while at BJs they had a Sealy twin for $90! Im stoked.

Sounds like a plan... Your mom could always take the setto her house if she was upset about getting rid of it.
