Unhappy She's rejecting me!!

My boob that is!! The last few days, Kendall has not wanted to nurse. She acts hungry and then when I try, she pulls back crying and her face turns beat red. Then I offer her milk that I've pumped in a bottle and she goes to town. After she's had 2-3 ounces, I try nursing again and she does. It's really strange. So now I have to pump several times a day. I had been doing it just once or twice so that Daddy could feed her. I don't know what to think. I am pumping a lot so that my milk supply stays strong. I'm actually having to freeze some of it. I hope things turn around because I really don't like pumping this much.

Have you eaten anything different? Alex refused my boob a week ago, and I realized it was a day that I had 3-4 cups of coffee...it was decaf coffee, but I bet it still affected the taste of my milk.

Maybe you should try feeding her before she gets hungry. She might be getting so "starved" and eager that she can't latch on easily. If she'll take a little from the bottle then nurse fine, it could be frustration in hunger. Sometimes they don't realize they're hungry until they're REALLY hungry and it's too late. You might try nursing a bit before you think she'll be getting hungry and see if that helps.
