Tooth Fairy Question Ages & Stages

Nate's 2 bottom teeth are loose. Any idea what the going rate for the tooth fairy is these days? I've heard that sometimes she brings more for the first tooth than the others.

Back in my day I got a quarter, but I don't think that will fly.

We gave Ryan a $5 bill, a book about a boy losing his first tooth, and a special certificate printed online from the tooth fairy saying congrats on losing his first tooth.
With every other tooth after that, he gets $1.

I think $1-$2 for each tooth is good. The first tooth maybe more. The amount really doesn't matter, it is the excitement.

We give a dollar per tooth, but the first tooth gets a dollar coin (we get them at the bank or post office). We also sprinkle the dollar bill (and even the coin) with some glitter glue/fairy dust.

I think we did give $5 for the 5th tooth for some reason, but it is typically $1.
