Default We discovered Brooke is good at math.

She had a 2 page worksheet with addition in the tradional setup of

2
+8
____

No cute colors or drawings to help them figure it out. She did it in 10 minutes both sides. I think it was 30 problems.

The bad thing is Randy and I didn't discover she had this homework till last night after she went to bed. I didn't check her folder because I thought he did and vice versa all because of dance and football, baseball we got distracted. So we woke her early by 15 minutes this morning so she would have time to do it. They normally have 10 minutes free time before the bus arrives so this gave her 25 minutes. She finished it in 10.

Way to go Brooke!!

Girls are just as good at math as boys. I still think a big misconception out there exists that subtly tells girls that math and science are "boys stuff". So not true!

Well Brooke has shown no math skills or inclination to learn any math in her life time. Brent and Braedon are very much into counting and money and such but not her.

I guess I was thinking she was more of the art type. She has amazing art skills and dancing talent and singing. But apparently she is book smart too. At least right now!
