What is going on? when does school start? have you gotten all the supplies or met the teachers yet?

I"m here! I was gone for a while but am slowly getting back. I noticed it was really slowing down again too. My kids go back on Aug 24th. I have all the school supplies for now but they always seem to send them home with another list of things they need besides that on the first week (especially the older ones) so I know we are not done

Just got back. The kids start on Monday tentatively.

We also got a call from the local Catholic school and are waiting to hear back on their financial aid package. Both kids got picked off the waitling list. We were shocked. Good part is we wouldn't have to move. Bad part is it might be too expensive to attend the school.

We just got their assignments and supplies lists today. Going to be a busy weekend.

Ilijana just got assigned my old 2nd grade teacher. I'm so excited for her. She was such a warm and loving teacher all those years ago. Heck, she was a new Mom and rookie teacher then. Now she is near retirement age. LOL!

Still waiting on Milo's teacher. There is a male Kindy teacher which would be cool, but girl teachers always have a soft spot for him, so that would be great too.

So I gather you decided to move the kids from the school they have been attending?

I pop in when I can but it seems like every time I sit down to post someone yells for or interrupts me. *sigh*
Kids go back to school Sept. 2nd. woo-hoo 6+ hrs to myself every week day- whatever will I do with myself??!! LOL
I don't have to buy supplies (we give each teacher $50 and they buy them) but I have all their other stuff- clothes, shoes, bags, etc.
