definately the kids.

I'm a plain Jane. I'm not a slob, but it's not glamourous either.

DH has a few clothes that are his 'nice' work clothes and he wears them regularly - some are quite old, as in decades - and he still wears them. I've been slowly updating his wardrobe so that he's presentable and not stuck in the 80s at work. Still, he has 'play clothes' that are just as old and quite slobbish. I try not to let him get in the pictures I'm taking when he's in those nasty clothes.

My Dh has "play clothes" as well... every once in a while I sneak into his closet & make a few items disappear... like the ones that are FALLING APART or the ones that look like wardrobe from "Night At The Roxy".

He's also JUST FIGURING OUT that he should CHANGE HIS CLOTHES (into the specific WORK CLOTHES that I put in a box in his closet for him) if he want's to stain the fence or do yardwork... he's ruined a bunch of clothes he LIKES by not changing. "But Heidi, it'll wash out... it's not ruined." "Ummm, no Earl, it's called STAIN for a reason... it STAINS."

I said me, because I have the best quality clothing. I almost always buy classic tyoe clothing and spend more money for good quality. My purchases last me years. My dh has a full closet of nice clothes but rarely wears them. He wears golf shirts and casual khakis for work which are not that fancy or expensive. My kids have the most clothes, but it is almost all trendy or fun which I refuse to spend a lot of money on. They out grow it in a season and I don't like the stress of worrying about if they are ruining expensive clothes. They each have a few things each season that are better quality, but not too much.
