Who is off of school today? Ages & Stages

My girls are off, but technically its not for Columbus Day. Its a "teacher furlough day due to state budget cuts". Or in other words an unpaid teacher vacation day.

I have to work and if I get enough done I need to take Rachel shopping for jeans.

My kids are off today but their teachers have in-service day. DH is also not teaching today but has in-service which is mostly writing curriculum, getting CPR certified, fun stuff like that. LOL!

It has been nice out, so the kids played in the backyard in their jammies. Yep, thought I'd let them get dirty before I bathed them for physical therapy today.

Thank goodness we have a fenced yard with lots of trees.

Ryan is off today for Columbus Day! Grandma came over to play with him and we went to Sonic for lunch!

We are never off for Columbus day. We have Friday off, called NEOEA day, and it's also an unpaid day off. Back in the day, teachers went to professional development that day-- I think some still do, but I have to do all mine through the school district so it's not an option for me.
