Thanks, Laura. I'll look into it. Maybe we can switch to almond milk or something. He's still nursing 2-4 times a day, too, so his "other" milk intake is minimal.

While he hasn't had an "official" diagnosis, the developmental pediatrician is likely going to give a diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Type 3. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Type 3--it's the least "severe" of the 6 types. She might diagnose him with Benign Joint Hypermobility Syndrome but these two often coexist and are mistaken for each other. So we'll see when we revisit her in August but we're considering him to have EDS for now.

Wow! I just looked those up. Sounds like your little man has lots of good care and the doctor is being really careful in the diagnosis (which is good). I'm glad to hear that the doc isn't rushing into any diagnosis. What does treatment look like for this?

Here's hoping the leg braces really do their job and he is cruising around soon.
