We are allowed 10 excused days. After that we have to have dr's excuse or either attend Attendance Recovery.

My son is in prek so I am just starting at this but I will not allow him to be out just because he doesnt feel like going. I have to go to work when I dont want to. So the only reason I would allow him to be out is if he was sick or we had a family emergency. Luckily so far he has had perfect attendance for the year and we are very proud of that!!! Now I will say that he has been late a couple times and I have had to check him out a couple times but other than that I think we are good. I am not even sure what the policy is. I know if they are out and you want it to be excused you must have a note!

If we're talking a day a month, then that's a different story IMO.
Nah, it only happens twice a year at most.

And for the record, I've never worked at a job where I wasn't allowed to take a day off once in a while for whatever I wanted it for as long as it wasn't done often. Don't most companies allow personal days along with sick days?
