  • Update:

On Friday they moved her from PICU up to the pediatric ward. The one good thing was she was labeled contagious, so she got a private room.
They discharged her on Sat. afternoon and now she's doing great!

  • So glad to hear she is doing better now. That must have been really scary for all of you.
Ds (who was just at the pediatrician yesterday) just developed croup and he went from having a slight cough yesterday to having trouble even just functioning today. Luckily we have a nebulizer in the house and the doc just said to start him on the medicine and come in if he didn't improve. The nebulizer medicine is helping a lot, but that cough came on so fast I can see how it can get to be an emergency really quickly.

  • They recommended we look into a nebulizer. It really was scary, Leslie said when she stopped breathing for 45sec.-1min. that her lips turned blue!

  • Sounds so scary! We got our nebulizer from the pediatrician and they put it through insurance for us. Good luck keeping her healthy.
