Preston learned to climb out of his crib about 3 weeks ago and he has gone WILD and climbs everything now. He climbs to the top of the cat stand and touches the ceiling, he climbs all the dressers, climbs the hood of my car, and even got on top of my stove one day. He even managed to knock the ladder out of his closet (we've always kept it in there because the attic entrance is in his room) and climbed to the top of the ladder while it was leaning against his crib.
 
Seriously he's out of control! He NEVER used to do any of this ... it's like something just clicked for him and he can't stop climbing. He even tries to climb on top of my table and hang from the chandelier. I feel like it's just a matter of time until he will be going to the ER for a broken body part. (And yes I DO watch him and of course I get on him for climbing ... but he won't stop!)

 
My 3 yr old is a monkey as well. My first never climb out of hers, but Nicole started before she was a year. She didnt have a crib that much longer after that. Nicole climbs on everything. I was amazed when she climb on top of the bathroom counter to get something in the medication closer..ugh..not good!

Lukas has been climbing for a long long time. We have a crib tent so he can get some sleep. He even climbs to the top of the 8-foot rock climbing tower at the playground
 

Avery is a climber.... she loves to climb everything!

Oy vei! I think I would have a heart-attack! Kendall just recently figured out how to use the small, plastic thing of drawers next to her changing table to climb up on the changing table....and then yells for one of us to come change her. Ahhhhh!
