Default How many days?

How many days are in your child's school year? I ask because our governor is proposing we add 20 days to the year. We are at 180 now--so that would put us close to 200.
I know some people's year is longer than others.

I think we have to count ours in hours, actually.

I'll have to look up what ours is specifically...

I believe it is 180. I am really surprised that your govenor is purposing this with the economy the way it is. That is 20 more days of staffing that has to be paid for, not to mention the cost of electricity for those 20 days.
