Question Learning Software?

Has anyone used some of that learning software available for kids? Did you find something that worked well that you might share with us?

There is a Mavis Beacon typing software that I am thinking of trying. I can type very fast but not correctly and I would like the boys to learn to key properly.

My oldest child is only six, but I know software up until that age.

Reader Rabbit is mostly good - there are a lot of titles under that name and some are better than others - I haven't liked their math stuff.

Arthur preschool was great

For general problem solving the following are great: Putt Putt series, Pajama Sam series, Sly Fox series. These start easy at around age three for Putt Putt until age six or seven for the Sly Fox stuff. I really like playing them with the kids too.

Oh, and the Jump Start series is good too.
