I also wanted to say that I hire a lot of babysitters from child care situations my kids are in already, for example the people who work in the child center at my gym. I've approached male employees about whether or not they babysit, because my sons REALLY like hanging out with guys. The few times that one of my female babysitters has brought her boyfriend along (with my permission), the kids can't stop talking about Brent or Phil.

I think if you have a child in the center, you're much more socially acceptable than if you were just a male with no child enrolled.

One of the assistant directors at Kaitlyn's daycare is a man and all the children love him. The directors fill in where needed, and he has certainly been in K's room. I have no problem with it.
