What are the names of some good books you read/listened to? I need suggestions for books that aren't very hard to follow so I can listen while I work.

Have you read the Traveling Pants books? Very cute. I read the first two, I think there's a third out now.

Good suggestion. I read (listened) to the 1st one and loved it. I'll have see if I can get #2 & 3 on audio.

I'm working on the 5th book in a series by Diana Gabaldon. They are wonderful historical fiction books. They are long, so they should keep you busy for awhile!

Melissa gave me an audio book - Outlander - and it was an easy listen.

The Nanny Diaries is easy, and well-narrated by Julia Roberts!

The Time Travelers Wife also isn't very complex and is interesting. It's pretty funny and does a nice job with an innovative concept. (It's really a love story, with a sci-fi wrapping.)

The other things I've been listening to are pretty complicated - the Tales of the Otori series and the Eragon books.

My only recommendation for things to NOT listen to is The Lovely Bones. It's a fabulous book, but so moving I had to pull over the car because I cried. If you're trying to work with it... well, not a good idea!
