  • Kendall is approaching her 3 month mark and she is learning and doing new things all the time! She has decided she is a thumb-sucker and I often catch her doing it to soothe herself to sleep. She is very "talkative" and smiley, especially to stuffed animals that Grandma entertains her with. She loves to play with the animals and also with my hair. I play a sort of game with her by running some of my hair over her face and she smiles and coos-I caught her staring at when it hangs in my face while I changed her diaper one day and started playing with it...and she loved it! We also play Native American....I make those indian sounds by putting my hand over mouth and then use my 2 fingers to do the same to her; she opens her mouth wide and then coos and "laughs."

Grandpa says he thinks she is starting to reach out to grab things now too. She also is noticing her feet more often, so we think she might start grabbing those soon...once she realizes she can.

It is so exciting watching her discover new things!
