I'm so glad that you figured it out. I didn't even think of that because Joseph has never had major issues with milk.

I hate when Dr's and nurses don't heed the mommy instinct. We spend 24/7 with our kids(practically) and they see them for 15/20 mins every few months. It should be a no brainer that we know how are kids act about certain things.

That is SO frustrating- when you KNOW what is right for your baby and others are telling you differently. We had some of that same trouble when dealing with Hope's reflux and sensitivity to milk. We kept her on her prevacid months longer than her GI doc thought we would have too, but everytime we tried to wean her off of it, she would be fussy and upset. She is finally off of it now, but he thought she would have been off of it before she was a year. Also, when she first had reflux and they told us to put oatmeal cereal in her bottle and she was only 6 weeks old- I KNEW that was a bad idea, and even though it did help her reflux- she got constipated. THEN they told us to give her pear juice- to a baby with REFLUX? I knew that had to be wrong too, and we tried it and she ended up in horrible pain! ARGH!!! It can be SO frustrating! I am just SO glad that you figured it out and that your little one is feeling better.

Wow, I HATE when dr's do stuff like that! So glad you were able to figure it out though and he is acting normal again. Maybe we'll see you around here more often, lol!
