Default Overzealous lifeguard

LOL the lifeguards at the new waterpark are all new and young and a bit overanxious.

The waterpark has a big pool. To swim in the deep end you have to pass a test which is to swim to the rope and back. Its probably about 25ft. Rachel gets in & is about 2/3 of the way to the rope when she starts treading water to catch her breath. She starts swimming again. At the same time the lifeguard blows her whistle. 3 more whistles blow & all activity in the pool stops. The lifeguard dives in, swims to Rachel & drags her over to the side asking her again & again if she is ok. She was just treading water & the lifeguard seriously thought she was is drowning! I'm the paranoid mother & even I could tell Rachel was fine

Rachel decided its too much trouble to swim in the deep end and goes back to the shallow side.

Oh dear! Well sometimes I wonder if lifeguards are really able to catch everything that is going on at a pool, so at least you know they are on the ball!

LOL they had at least 6 at the pool.

I asked one on the Lazy River a question & he wouldn't look at me - I guess they aren't supposed to look away. Maybe he thought I was testing him?
