Default potty training

how goes it?

Lyla will go on the potty- but dont think she's grasped what it feels like 'before' she has to go....
she definitely knows when she has gone and likes to get out of wet or stinky diaper asap...

we're bribing her with gum-- her new FAVORITE thing thanks to her big brothers-- i can't believe i let my 2yo have gum

the boys never did at that age...

not really pushing it-- but will be happy to see diapers behind us

Avery is doing the same thing as Lyla. She tells us immediately after because she wants out of her Pull-Up (she has refused to wear diapers for about 4 months now). She has never told me before she has to go but if I sit her on the potty she will go on occasion.

Lukas won't even sit on the potty without screaming, so we've got a road ahead of us. It would help if his older brother were using the potty consistently (he'll be 4 in September).

It's not! She still tells us when she needs to be changed, but doesn't want to sit on the potty.

She moves to the 2 year old class this week at daycare, so we'll see what happens when she starts seeing all the other kids going. I'm a little nervous that she might actually want to try and we'll be in that in-between stage while driving 13 hours out of state at the end of the month. I'll need to bring ALL her clothes & several bedsheets, lol!

Mialee goes when we ask her.... getting ready for the bathc or what not. If we say, "Mialee, go potty!" right before her bath she will sit down and go... but she does not tell us when she is ready at all. I read that you are not supposed to push them, but to let them do it in their own time. So that's what I am doing but I admit when my friend tells me of his progress with his 15 month old (Mialee is 2 today!) I feel like maybe I should push more....
