Default Progress report

Alexis got her first 'progress' report. They get 'report' cards every 9 weeks and progress midway between those. She had checkmarks for everything except for holding scissors correctly. Probably because I'm afraid of what they will get a hold off if I give them scissors.

There was also a note that she will be starting the Accelerated Reading program soon.

I am with you on being afarid to give the sissors. My dd has the same problem but she is a lefty but really she is ambidextris (uses both hands for everything else) and can't decided which hand to use for sissors.
