Default Quick update on my Calandra morning battles

We made a "good morning chart" last Thursday night, and whenever she has a good, not-whiny morning she gets to put a sticker on it. In fact, our nanny asked us to put spaces for "good dinner" and "good bedtime" too! So far she has four stickers. If she gets all the morning stickers I'll take her for ice cream after school on Friday. If she gets all 15 stickers then her choice is to stay up as late as she wants on Friday night eating ice cream and watching movies!

So far so good...

Jo

Sticker charts work well here to - I just find it hard to comply on my part to pass out the stickers - I have been trying to think of new solutions with Joshua too - thanks for the idea - if I can manage it will probably give him some incentive too!! Glad to hear that things are going a little smoother!

Each of my kids have a behavior chart in their room, you can get it at toys r us. They get either a quarter or fifty cents at the end of the week for each catergory that they scored five out of 7 in.

I tried charts. We'd come home late & forget to do it for a few days and that was the end of it. I'd start again and the same thing would happen.

I'm glad to hear its working for you CJ though!
