Default Sharyn, How's Rachel doing?

I've been thinking about little Miss Rachel and wondering how she's doing...

Much better thanks! She's been in the 1st cup ever since that 3 hr timeout

. But I think the prospect of getting something new if she is good for only 2 days has been a big incentive.

There is one other problem though. The class has nutrition on Wed and the kids all "cook" something. Easy stuff like homemade lunchables or smoothies. Its with the pe coach. She wants the kikds to just taste it, not even swallow if they don't like it. Rachel of course won't try anything new, but insead of just saying no she cries loudly and has a fit like she's being tortured.

The coach says she's as stubborn as Rachel and that she sees Rachel as a challenge. I don't mind the coach doing what she can (she isn't forcing the food into them.) but to be honest I don't think she will have any more success than we will at getting Rachel to try new foods. But who knows...she has another 8 months to go.

But I told Rachel that if I hear she's had such a crying fit and been disrespectful to Coach Christina again she will lose beads and will have to earn them back to get a reward. Her stick stayed in the green cup so the 1st grade teacher is treating this as something separate.
