Default Stomach bug diet question

Chloe seems to be getting over a stomach bug. She had a really rough night last night.. basically slept a combined total of maybe 2.5 hours in between getting sick

She will drink water readily but we're having a tough time getting her to sip only, and as a result she threw up all her water around noon today. I know you need to give them a modified diet (Bananas, Rice, Toast, Applesauce..) but for how long? She seems interested in food but I really don't want to push it and be cleaning her bed up again tonight!

So in general, how much do you give to a kid with a stomach bug? How about water? How long should I hold off on dairy products? I just don't know if I should hold her off milk for a day, two days, three days????

We always did the same around 24 hours, if they showed interest, we started with crackers and other bland things and worked our way up... Poor little girl, I hope she is 100% again soon!
