Well Joseph is half monkey! I love him to pieces and he really isn't a hard child...hard headed sometimes. But he's all boy and very rough and tumble...and accident prone like his mama

We figured out that we will get at minimum 18 months out the converted crib before upgrading to a big boy bed. We are going to start on a little sibling in January and if all goes well we'll be pregnant be April.

So with that time frame and then 9 months of pregnancy and then 2-3 months in the bassinet for a new baby Joseph will be ready for a twin size bed by his 3rd birthday.

Doug is very excited about the propect of another baby and we are in a good place to try again..better then when we had Joseph to be honest.

SORRY!!!! That is a tough transition.

I JUST switched my little guy (who is 2 1/2) into his toddler bed on Friday. He was climbing in and out of his crib and actually fell and hit his face on the bottom of his crib while trying to climb INTO bed. He is defnitely adjusting. His naps were really messed up anyway because of Cora's preschool schedule. Preston didn't nap on Saturday or Sunday. Yesterday he fell asleep a little after 2 (I had to go into his room 3 times). When I went to get on him for the 3rd time yesterday I told him that we were going to have to take away his big boy bed and put his baby bed back up if he didn't stay in bed ... he went right to sleep.

So we'll see how it goes today.

He has NO issues at night and falls right to sleep. He even waits in his bed in the morning until I come open his door. So overall it's been a good change.

GOOD LUCK!

Hmmmm..glad to hear the tent works for future reference. I am very surprised that Hope has not tried to crawl out of her crib yet! I want to keep her in it as looooong as possible, lol!!
