My wife Katy and I have music playing a good portion of the time we spend with our daughter. Katy has a gift with music and singing so in hopes that our daughter will pick up some of that we have music (with a beat that you can dance to) playing quite often, whether we are in the car or at home in the living room with VH1 on.

Well recently for SOME REASON Mialee has grown to like Lady GaGa music. We were driving in the car recently and suddenly Pokerface starts playing and Mialee's little voice peeps out "GaGa!" so we laughed and were like, "Yep, that's Lady GaGa!" and so she's in her car seat moving to the music. When the song was over Mialee goes. "GaGa?" and ended it as a question. Too funny! But when I told her "Nope, All Gone!" she responds with a very dejected, "GaGa!" and I repeated that it was over. So she throws this big temper tantrum in the car DEMANDING Lady GaGa be played again. "GaGaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!"

Monday when Katy walked in the door after picking Mialee up from the sitters "All the Single Ladies" by Beyonce' was playing on VH1. So Mialee runs in and starts dancing. I walk into the Living Room to see her but she could care less that I was there because she was so absorbed in the video of Beyonce' dancing around. When it was over Lady GaGa's video for "Bad Romance" comes on and IMMEDIATELY she goes, "GaGa!" and got excited. Fast forward to yesterday I am sitting there waiting for Katy to bring Mialee inside from the sitters and they walk in. I go, "Hi Mialee!" thinking she'd probably come running up to greet me with a big "Daddy!". So I greet her and she comes running up to me, but "Daddy!" doesn't come out of her mouth. Instead she runs up and yells, "GaGa!". I started laughing but then she got really serious on me and started DEMANDING Lady GaGa. When I didn't present Lady GaGa for her along came another temper tantrum.

I took her outside to check out the snow and JUST as I step outside with her "Paparazzi" comes on the radio. Mialee looks up at me and points inside where the sound was coming from and says, "paparahtsy!" with near perfect pronunciation!

Oh boy.

Funny my daughter is the exact same (but she's just turned 4). She is always asking us to play GaGa. The song Monster is her favorite by far.

I guess it's all good unless they want to start dressing like her!

Very cute, my boys are Beyonce Fans, I have listened to Single Ladies so many times, besides that, they want to listen to the Hockey Song by Stompin Tom and 7,8,9 by Barenaked Ladies...

same here...single ladies is Lucy's favourite song and she loves all Beyonce songs but that one is her fav..it's on our phones so she can dance around the house..it's her party piece everyone visits just to see her dance to the song. She loves lady gaga too but is picky about the songs, poker face is her fav followed by bad romance
