Update and a couple of new pics Ages & Stages

Sooo....Hope has had a rough couple of weeks, but is seems as though she is finally feeling better. Her acid reflux got pretty bad last week and we had a rough couple of days. It may have been due to her being on thrush medicine so I discontinued it since we were going to see the GI specialist. We saw him on Weds. and the appt. went really well. He spent a good 15 minutes talking with us about her history and problems before he even examined her. He said she definitley has acid reflux and that we need to make her as comfortable as possible until she grows out of it. She doesn't always spit up and he said that can be worse because the acid goes up and down. He increased her Zantac and we can increase it again if we need to. He said the Thrush medicine can hurt their tummy's and he checked her mouth and said she doesn't need to take it anymore (phew!). He didn't want to run any tests (thankfully) because she is thriving and gaining weight. She is now 8 lbs 9 oz! Wow! Way to go miss Hope, lol! The last two days she has been doing better and has had less episodes of being in pain. Hearing her little wimper when she is hurting just KILLS me so I am very glad she is feeling better. She is finally pooping better too- after being off the rice cereal for over a week now. I am also giving up beans to see if that helps her gas- I have already given up dairy and as a vegetarian it makes it a little hard, but worth it if it helps her.
