We won't be making a big deal (we don't buy for each other - how unromantic eh?...not a fan of made up holidays)

I will get her a card and a teddy bear and some sweets and I have a lovely red dress I bought at xmas that I didn't put on her yet so I'll put that on her

BTW - did you know that St Valentine is actually buried here in Dublin? He is interred in a church in the city, I used to pop in quite a bit when I worked in the city on my lunch hour. There you go a bit of trivia from Ireland

Thanks Therese, that is some cool trivia!

I wasn't really planning on actually getting something or doing something special for Kendall, but last night I found pink pancake mix w/chocolate chips so we will have a special V-Day breakfast. I also bought some peaches, so she can eat fresh fruit that morning too instead of the usual canned. Her daycare class is having a "party" Friday & all the parents had to sign up to bring something. I took the eay route & signed up for juice, lol! Hopefully I can still find a V-Day top somewhere for her to wear b/c I don't think she has any red tops. If not, she does have a cute, sort-of dressy outfit that is pink & black.

Nothing major - I think we'll get my little ones some sort of treat. I'm thinking we'll grab some of those candy hearts with the sayings on them. I think dh and I will pick out valentines day cards for both of them but that's probably it.

We'll have a heart pancake breakfast and then for lunch we'll do sandwiches with heart shaped bread. I'm going to make some sort of heart shaped treat for dessert after dinner too. Either sugar cookies or peanut butter cookies with heart shaped chocolates on top.
