We had a wonderful Christmas- Hope was such a joy! And, last week we ventured to Disneyland. Hope did great and had so much fun! She loved all the rides (especially Dumbo with Daddy) and it was such a special experience for the three of us before the new baby comes. She also loved seeing Winnie the Pooh and Minnie (mimi) mouse, but snubbed Eyore and Tigger lol! I held up pretty good- luckily Hope fell asleep in her stroller for a 30 minute nap so DH pushed her around while I sat and ate ice cream...hehehe. What a wonderful day!!!
DH and I also went on a date on Saturday- we figure it's probably our last one for awhile! We had a gift certificate to DH's favorite steak house in Palm Springs. We have had it for almost two years. We were supposed to go on 7/22/09, but Hope was born on 7/21!!! We just haven't been able to go since. So we went there and to a movie on Saturday. DH's mom and step-dad babysat and Hope did great. They will be here when DH and I are at the hospital for the new baby, so it was good practice!!! We had a really nice time.
