Lately, a lot of playing out in the snow, my boys love being outside, so we play in the yard, or I got them both shovels and they both love helping dad shovel snow...

We go to play areas, or in the summer community centre... We meet with friends, have family get togethers, where the kids play and the adults hang out, we get chores done, which the boys help with, cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc...

Some weekends we go away...

try to make the most out of having everyone home! DH works long hours and connor is in school full day now-- so we have lots of family time.

This weekend we had happy hour at a neighbors and pizza after school- dh met us there. Then sat we had basketball at noon for connor- so in the am we made a big breakfast and played some games. We came home for L's nap after the game and dh took the boys out for some errands and hair cuts-- then we went out to dinner and made it home in time to watch the eagles play football- big game which they lost!

Sunday we went to my SIL's for brunch....missed church for that, then came home for L's nap and dh took the boys out again..... I made dinner and enjoyed the quiet time home

Some weekends we do absolutly nothing except stay inside, watch TV, play with dd, do laundry & other light housework, and then go to bed, lol! Other weekends we could be running around shopping, running errands, visiting family that lives in town (or they are visiting us) or do lots of cleaning at home. When there is a certain event or activity that is appropriate for dd's age that we hear about, we do try & take her. (Like storytime at the library, free kids event downtown, etc)

I think because the weather had been so awful for 2 weeks we had been stuck indoors and we were all bored silly - we had done everything we could

plus DH works most nights and weekends so it can be tough but things will be changing for us shortly so hopefully we will be back into a routine
