Question What gives?

Since I can't keep the little boy up right now, I decided to pump. I know my milk's in, because my boobs are HUGE

, warm to the touch, and I've been feeling letdown when he nurses. So why is what's coming out bright yellow? I figured when the milk comes in the colostrum is done - but I've never pumped this early before. Anyone know?

bright yellow? I have no idea about the whole breast feeding thing, maybe it's a mix of colostrum and breast milk??
Are you taking b vitamins?? They make your pee yellow.

i pumped in the first week and i got yellow for a good 4-5 days mixed in with my milk...then when i put it in the freezer bag, the yellow would float to the top.
i think maybe there is some residual colostrum left over?

either that or you have turned into Big Bird.

I read somewhere that you have transitional milk until about 10 days... mine had a yellow tinge up until about 2 days ago... Maybe that helps?

Mine was never yellow... and I pumped every day the first few days.... I've heard mellow yellow will make some people's milk yellow
