  • Oh, that is what the Lotrimin is. I realized I accidentally got the Lotrimin ultra. Wonder if that is what made it worse? Oh and I love aquaphor. I use it for Alex's cheeks. I'll try that too!

  • The ultra doesn't have the same active ingredient - Clotrimazole is what you want.

  • Oh, another thing, Laura. If it doesn't start clearing up, get a package of puppy pads from the pet store (they're 14"X14" thin pads like what they put under you in labor and delivery. put one of those under him in his crib and let him go diaper free. The pad will soak up all the pee and poop, and the air will help his butt heal. But the Lotrimin AF (the one with clotrimazole) has always done the job for us.

  • Got the Lotrimin AF and it does seem a bit better by this evening. Giving it until tomorrow. And, the pads are a great idea rudi...I've been using a towel. Will do!
