Well Sara is now 4.5 years old. She went on Thursday last week for her shots and check up. She is doing well since she has had her tonsilis out. She gainned about 4 pounds because she is finally enjoing her food, she is still short only 39" tall. Oh well she will take after me. When they had to give her the shot she was good until the nurse whet to give it and I couldn't hold her. So DH had to hold her still until the shots were done. She recieved two in one arm and boy it must have hurt. We go on November 2 for our flu shot and we will have to take both girls, no that should be interesting! Sara is loving school and the teacher said she has a great eye for detail and remembering things. She said Sara can remember how other peoples names look when written down. She reconizes the letters. Amazing to me because she never ever cared before. All in all things are good.

Sounds like a perfect check up!

FYI- I was in first grade when I got my tonsils out (in March) and the summer after that I grew about 2-3 inches. My tonsils were almost constantly infected up to the point they were removed. My mom laughs about it to this day- before I had them out, I napped every day (can you imagine a first grader napping voluntarily? ) and ate about 1/2 as much as I did after.
