Default How do you handle lying?
My 8 year old son has recently started lying a LOT. About everything. He lies about the littles things and it seems that no punishment or speech helps. He has went over a week with lying about something (which at this point, is something to rejoice about). I'm hoping that this phase will be over soon. Does anyone have any suggestions to try in case this continues?

That's kind of tough! I have caught dd in a lie or two but nothing a good lecture didn't fix (I think!)

I hope the phase is gone for you and you didn't have anymore issues!

I think the lectures have helped. He has been doing really well. Its almost as if he never went through that phase at all. Thank goodness !!!
