Ok Lets see if im understanding this correctly. Put all the marbles but 10 in the out (bad) jar. What do i do with the 10 that wasnt put in the jar? When they do something good take marbles from the out (bad) jar and put into the in (good) jar? My kids are like yours it sounds. There is alot of misbehaving in my house. I just dont even know where to start lol.

the 10 go in the "in" jar so they have something to start with. This is uber important when they do alot of misbehaving at the start and you want to take away..... but they don't have any marbles.

In the beginning, you're just searching for any little thing for them to earn marbles with... of course they get them taken away promptly but after the 'learning curve' and when they realize that they're missing out and have to straighten up, they start automatically doing the good stuff and the positives start outweighing the bad.

I should also add that each kid gets their own set of jars. This way, one can earn while the other struggles figuring out that they have to shape up themselves because they can't coast on the other people's goodness.
