Last day of kindergarten Ages & Stages

So my baby is an emerging first grader! Her final report was awesome---she is reading and writing at a third grade level and she said the sweetest thing yesterday in the way home from the last day.

I asked her if she was looking forward to summer break and the camps she is going to and she said "no". So I asked her would she rather just start first grade now and she said "Yes. You and daddy picked a great school for me!"

Made me cry a little--gotta love it if they WANT to go to school.

Awwww! Glad she's enjoyed school so much that she wants to keep going!

We're still in school until Thursday of this week- I'm ready for school to be out, but I know about 2-3 weeks into summer vacation, I'll be counting down the days until school starts again.

C's last day is the 12th.... he's excited to go to the beach, but is looking forward to 1st grade too
