Did you call?? How long til you get in?? We could take bets on the month and joke about it til then if it would help pass your time. You are one strong woman and Sarah is very very very lucky to have you.

well, somewhat good news.
I got an appointment for the Neurosurgeon for October 9th.
so only a 6 week wait which is way better than the 6 month wait I was expecting.
And... I'm on the cancellation/wait list too.

now - to get the referral mess taken care of. The GI dr said they don't do the referrals, the primary care Dr does. I called the primary care Dr and they told me that no, he doesn't do it :hbang:
so I now have to call the insurance and ask who I'm supposed to get the referral approved from/by.
And I have 6 weeks for that.

For pete sakes ... why can't doctors work together until they figure out what is going on?? I bet so many other parents feel the same way you do with these issues and waiting to see a specialist.
I'm glad you got into see the Neurosurgeon PDQ though!!! for a cancellation!!

6 weeks for a pedi neuro is UNHEARD of around here- and we've got boatloads of them in the Houston area (well, compared to most places ). I bet you danced a jig when you heard that date! I'm excited for you.
