...from my new watercolor painting class.

This teacher does it quite a bit differently than the other person I took last time.

Last time, she had a painting and everyone in the class copied her. She'd do some and we watched, then we'd go to or desks and try to copy her.
I liked that style because there was a lot less guessing to be done

this new teacher, she has a 'theme' each week and we go out and find our own inspirations and then we all come to class and do the pictures (which are all different) after a brief 'demonstration of generalities' on the given subject.
So far, the 2 subjects that have been selected (the class chose the catagories ) I have NOT liked but I tried my best. It was hard finding things I would even want to paint in the catagories

First week - shoes
Second week - metal
Next week will be birds/feathers
(this is one I will like doing! )

so here are my first 2 picture attempts in this class.
You can see that I haven't even taken them off my boards yet and that the picture I took of each is sort of wonky because of the angles I took them at. use your imagination!
